Interrupt Service Routine: LMMS
Time for another update. It is depressing how fast the time goes by. By now, I was hoping that my first game would be at least in alpha and I will be getting first feedback from testers, slowly inching towards a release. But as always, the classic formula for how much time software development takes (make an estimate, multiply it by two, and add zero to the end) proved to be true. Some portions of the project turned out to be much more difficult than I expected, and combined with my tendency to procrastinate it eventually lead me to quite an unexpected side-quest.
Update after 8 years
It's hard for me to believe that about a quarter of my life has passed since the last update. Almost nine long years, and still it feels like I got this website running only a year or two ago. Looking back on the first post, I can't help but to find it kind of embarrassing. :) But I decided to leave it here anyway, to serve me as a remainder to avoid posting on my public page unless I'm sure I have all the marbles together.
That being said, my being pissed off with life, the universe and everything was probably one of the things that kick-started a new round of work on my various projects, even though the level of enthusiasm that radiates from the first post certainly did not last long. At the very least, I'm not so hell-bent on ripping a hole in the fabric of space-time, or whatever. :)
So, what's new, then?
Purpose
In the first place, it will serve as my personal website. More or less, it is an attempt to replace my Facebook account with a web presentation that is completely under my control. One of the first subsections will be likely some sort of photo gallery and microblogging system. The site you are now reading will contain only information about major events and links to the other sections.
After some time I intend to present some interesting ideas and experiments, mostly concerning software and electronics development, after a few years maybe even biology as I'm interested in the idea of connecting our technology with ourselves.
In addition to that, some low-grade graphics and 'art' or even literature (in the case I'll be bored enough to finish the written part of my 'Díra' project ^^ ) could possibly appear.
It will take some time, though, as I'm quite busy with school – don't expect anything big any time soon. :)
Reality
The 'reality' around us is evolving chaotically all the time. As one of the consequences, one day I emerged in this world.
Here I am, an insignificant chunk of meat somewhere in the Universe. Lacking any purpose, consumed by time, enslaved by pain.
And so I'm going to make the damn Universe regret doing such a stupid mistake. Such as creating 'me'. I will get my revenge, or (more likely) die in attempt.
So let's change the future! Let's change the world! Let's change the Universe!
And let's stop writing cringy stuff on public websites. (Greetings from the future. xD)
